Penneys/Primark Haul!

As I mentioned in my New Year, New Adventure post I am moving to Abu Dhabi in a couple of weeks, so obviously that means I had to go shopping!

Naturally, my first (and hopefully only) stop was Penneys (Primark to you English folk), to pick up a skirt for training. However things didn't exactly go to plan as I ended up buying a few more bits!
Oh well :)

Heres what I got :

Flower Kimono - €15

Pink Kimono - €5 (on sale)

Blue Kimono - €5 (on sale)
I'm loving all my kimonos, and seeing as it is respectful in Abu Dhabi to cover your shoulders & elbows I think I will be living in them! Unfortunately none of them are actually in my size, but big kimonos aren't a huge deal, they're meant to be baggy!

Pencil Skirt - €9

Uniform Skirt - €9

The top skirt is because, again, it is respectful to cover your legs down as far as your knees. I think it will look lovely with a plain white or black top!
Then I got a plain knee length skirt for training - it fits perfectly and is a nice light material without bordering on being too casual so I got two :)

Shoes - €18

Finally, the shoes! Gotta love Penneys/Primark for their super affordable on trend stuff! I love these! Granted, the last thing in the world I needed was more heels (I never ever wear them because I rarely go out) but for €18 they basically begged me to buy them!

The only other thing I am on the hunt for are sandals (flats this time!), I was looking at FitFlops - are they as comfy as everyone says? It's a pretty hefty price tag for sandals!

Do you have any recommendations for good quality comfy sandals?

  2. Ha! I was just trying on those heels yesterday! Kind of regret not getting them! Might go back for them today! They really were quite comfy!
