No.7 Pore Vacuum Mask [Review]

After reading the review of this on Beaut.ie (here) I was disgusted, intrigued and simply had to buy it!
Even the name itself - 'Pore Vacuum' sounds amazing (not that I'm into that sort of thing...)

It is a clay like mask that peels off, removing excess oil and unclogging pores while giving your skin a deep cleanse.

The instructions say to only apply this to your nose and forehead - so it must be some heavy duty stuff!
Being the rebel that I am I also applied this to my chin, as I can often get breakouts in that area, but I made sure to keep my cheeks clear and stay well away from my hairline.

Use your fingers to apply a thick layer of this to your desired areas (thick enough so no skin is showing through on the areas the mask is applied to), then wait for ten minutes before peeling off.

Peeling it off is the most strangely satisfying feeling, you can feel every little hair on your face pull out and although the mask is dark you can see your unclogged pores exposed on the peeled bits!

I really liked this, I'm a big fan of exfoliation (tip here) and love the feeling of a deep cleanse which is exactly what this gave!

After using the pore vacuum my skin definitely feels smoother on the areas I applied it (maybe because those areas are now completely hair free!!) and my pores appear slightly smaller.

This mask is not recommended for those with very dry or sensitive skin as it may be quite harsh, but for normal/oily/combo skin types or even just to put on areas you really need it I'd definitely recommend picking up a tube - especially if you have a No7 discount voucher as for a mask this is quite expensive (€18.25) but well worth it :)

Just a heads up that the current No7 €6.50 off vouchers are valid until Sunday October 6th, as well as all No7 skincare currently being on 'buy two get third free' offer so now is the time to buy :)

Will you be trying the Pore Vacuum ?
